Today my schedule was a bit messed up; I sat in Freshman Honors Chemistry first hour.
As the teacher lectured, he told the fourteen year olds and me that even though some particles are microscopic, and we can’t see them, they still exist. THOSE PARTICLES ARE THERE DANG IT.
Then I had an epiphany.
Chemistry argument = Jesus argument.
Athiest: How can you tell me that God exists? We cannot see him, touch him, or feel him. I believe in things that can be proven… through science.
Me: Prove to me that a proton exists. YOU CAN’T. WE CAN’T TOUCH IT, SEE IT OR FEEL IT. You just believe that it’s there because someone said so.
Okay, that’s probably not the greatest way to go about it, but idea sounds good to me.
